Web Programmer

Multi-media agency, in Detroit, specializing in marketing and technology with a focus on software and web development. They provide web development and related services for some of the largest companies in the world. They have a progressive work attitude and provide hands-on experience. As an intern or trainee, you are exposed to many real projects and you develop new skills as part of the program.

The supervisor has 10 years of work experience in the industry, at least 4 years leading in current role, and educational background consists of advanced degree and professional experience.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Work with the programming team to develop and support web applications.
• Write code and design applications as part of a larger project.

• Produce, test, implement, and maintain applications.
• Work with project managers to gather requirements and conceptualize architecture for web applications.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation.

• Great communication skills (writing, speaking and reading)

• Master’s degree completed or in progress in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Candidates should have experience in engineering, information systems, networks, and programming

Skills / Knowledge / Language Proficiencies

• Strong knowledge or experience in CMS platforms WordPress, Drupal required.
• Knowledge of the following languages: PHP, C#, Cold Fusion, JSP, and .NET.
• Programs: SQL Server, Visual Studio, Notepad ++, and SVN
• Good skills in speaking and writing English.
