Project Management Internship
Intern will learn how to ensure the highest quality; not only does the ongoing process have to be evaluated, but steps also need to be taken to be proactive in planning and managing a project. Many of these steps are the result of thorough planning, evaluation of previous projects, as well as staff experience. There will also be a large focus on terminology tools such as translation memory and interpreting files
Tasks Include:
- Assisting with style guide management including: updating existing style guides, checking adherence to style guides at various stages
- Assisting with training management including: training needs for individual staff members as well as procedures
- Assisting with Terminology Management: develop glossaries and terminology, check and assess feasibility of terminology tools such as translation memory
- Defining project goals, managing general customer expectations, and building project teams
