Electrical Engineering

Based in Longview, Texas, this company performs research and development in the areas of electronics, physics, software, and mechanics.  The intern will work with research and development in electronics, software, optics, LCDs, LEDs, and a number of other areas.  The position will also work closely with Software Developers to develop new industries and products.

Tasks Include:

- Researching current designs and products available in the marketplace

- Compiling information, including technical specifications

- Creating innovative new concepts and designs

- Performing research and analysis of patents and related materials and provide technical support when necessary 

- Submitting invention disclosures and keeping inventor’s notebook current
