Stage-USA is part of Stage-Global, and was founded in February 2010 with the goal of offering quality J-1 internships for international students and young professionals. Since then, it has grown to become a well-rounded company that serves students and young professionals in every single aspect of fulfilling their dream to go to the U.S.. Stage-Global is based in New York City, USA and with a regional office in Amsterdam, The Nehterlands.
Andries Bonneur
Founder
Andries is the founder and owner of Stage-Global, living in New York City. After a year spent in the US during his International Business studies at HAN in Arnhem, he became inspired to help students and young professionals realize their dream experiences abroad. That’s why he established Stage-Global in 2010, which has since flourished into a company operating in both New York City and Amsterdam. Beyond his enormous passion for his work, Andries enjoys windsurfing, running, and swimming. He nurtures his creative side by playing the piano, while maintaining a huge interest in American history.
Ksenia van Ness
Program Coordinator
Ksenia is a Program Coordinator at Stage-Global, and works from our New York City office. She had a nomadic childhood spanning between Miami, New York, and Moscow, sparking her interest in all things international. Ksenia obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Philosophy, Religion and International Relations at Hunter College, City University of New York. Afterwards, she coordinated travel experiences for guests in Montenegro and obtained the Cambridge CELTA, allowing her to teach English to speakers of other languages. She has helped thousands of students gain admission to top universities around the world. Ksenia is passionate about using her language skills and mentoring experience to guide ambitious people in achieving their dreams abroad.
Lauren Stepanov
Program Coordinator
Lauren is a Program Coordinator at Stage-Global. Lauren is from Central New Jersey, USA where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Kean University. She started off her career doing social media marketing for a pet health care company then moved on to doing direct mail for a magazine publishing company. She enjoys assisting students in achieving their dream careers while building relationships that continue after the internship is over. Lauren has been working in the exchange industry for the last 10 years as her side job before she decided to make it her full time role! Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and her small children. She is passionate about reading, food, shopping, travel (cruises) and music!
Hans Woudsma
Program Coordinator
Hans is a Program Coordinator at Stage-Global. He studied at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Media & Communications. In 2017, Hans moved to New York City as part of an internship provided by Stage-Global. Afterwards, he briefly lived in Toronto before moving to California on a second J-1 visa. Hans has remained in the US since then, finding his way back to Stage-Global to assist students and young professionals in achieving their cultural exchange goals. He enjoys sharing his personal experience abroad with others, and he is highly passionate about traveling and exploring new places — preferably with others who share similar interests.
Niels Dekker
Program Coordinator
Niels is a Program Coordinator at Stage-Global, working from our office in New York City. He was born and raised in West Friesland, north of Amsterdam. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2021, he moved to the Chicago area to pursue an internship. Niels gained valuable insights into American business and culture, developing an understanding of the intricacies of global exchange. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new breweries, watching football games, as well as reading books on business and politics.
Sara Latto
Administrative Coordinator
Sara is an Administrative Coordinator at Stage Global. Originally from the Orkney Islands in Scotland, Sara relocated to the Netherlands in 2019. Sara has gained a wide range of experience working in both government and private organisations focused on helping people achieve their personal and professional goals. Sara enjoys international travel and is passionate about experiencing new cultures through socialising, food and music.
Hans van Mourik
IT and Web development
Hans is IT and Web development at Stage-Global. Hans grew up in a small town in the Netherlands, but has lived in Amsterdam for over 12 years. During his studies he also spent six months in Cape Town, where his interest in travel and international education was born. He holds a Master's degree in Marketing Research from Tilburg University, and has been working at the intersection of marketing and technology for many years. His great passion lies in building customer-centric websites and applications.
Rik Goedhart
Graphic Designer
Rik Goedhart is the Graphic Designer at Stage-Global. He is a big fan of the United States, especially New York City. His enthusiasm for traveling abroad is clearly reflected in his work.
Jonas Linke
Regional Coordinator Germany
Jonas is the regional coordinator at Stage-Global. Jonas grew up in Siegen, close to Cologne, Germany and obtained a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Osnabrueck. Very early on Jonas developed a passion for meeting people of other cultures and speaking foreign languages. This is best illustrated by his social voluntary service in Mexico back in 2009 and his internship in New York City in 2016. He returned various times to Mexico and the US to keep in touch with his international friends and to explore new spots of these wonderful countries. Jonas is Stage-Global's specialist for programs in Germany, and is helping international students to create an incredible and valuable experience abroad.
