Includes: Document revision and upgrading (résumé and motivation letter), interview coaching, job placement, personalized helpdesk prior to, and during your program.
Excludes: Optional STEM extension program. Development training plan and E-Verification of host company. Additional fee $500.
Compensation:
1-3 Months: Unpaid (or small stipend)
3-11 months: Stipend, and in some cases minimum wage
12+ months: Minimum wage or more
Payment Schedule
- Intake: Both registration and intake meeting with a representative of Stage-USA are without obligation and completely free of charge. When you decide to start up the program, you sign a Program Agreement after which the first payment of $1000 is due. The issuing of this invoice only occurs after you agree to continue with Stage-USA after the intake meeting.
- Placement: Once Stage-USA has found a suitable OPT job opportunity, and upon receiving your approval, the remaining amount of the placement fee will be charged and the deposit will be deducted from that amount.
Housing
In the case you wish to pursue an OPT job program away from your university location, Stage-USA provides a housing directory for finding suitable accommodations. We provide the assistance in finding you suitable housing. Prices may vary but bear in mind the following guidelines:
- Student housing: $400 per month
- Studio: $800 per month
- Apartment: $1100 per month (bedroom/living room/bathroom)
